The Waikanae Committee is thrilled to announce the appointment of Scott Taylor as First Team Head Coach for the 2021 season.
Scott and his partner moved to Kapiti from the Manawatu in 2019 and have spent the last year settling in to the coast. Originally from Scotland, Scott began his coaching career after playing Central League with coaching roles at Red Sox and Hokowhitu United in both Manawatu Horizons Premiership and Federation leagues. He brought great success to both roles and is now really looking forward to his next chapter here on the coast.
We are really excited to welcome Scott and his family to the Waikanae FC family and community and look forward to supporting him and the team during the season.
The Committee extends its heartfelt thanks to Adam Price who has led and guided our First Team over the past few seasons with pleasing results. We thank Adam for his continued involvement in the Club with our TDP program.
Pre-season training will commence straight away starting Tuesday 9 February, 6.30pm at Jim Cooke Park. All are welcome.
